Glenn Miller live. The Andrews Sisters live. What's even better: they're making music together! Remarkable recordings, actually a private initiative of Glenn Miller, who had the broadcasts recorded "for his reference", and remarkable "editing" of these quite problematic recordings for this top notch couple of CDs. According to the booklet, "Bei mir bist du schön"'s last seconds were very noisy on the acetate record, and the sustained final chord of was missing: no problem! Let's take a similar chord, tune it down a third, and paste it onto the song! To be honest, I don't hear that edit, because each time I listen to that song, I just enjoy the music. Maybe, some of these days, I'll study it through a set of headphones :) Great quality of music (Glenn Miller's and the Andrews Sister's contribution), great quality of presentation (the editors' contribution)!
