Play Not Quite Two Dozen
By Kenny Baker's Dozen
Very Good Condition
The fact that Kenny Baker was asked to lead the Harry James band after the great trumpeter's death is a testimony to the English trumpeter's ability. Baker came to prominence in the original Ted Heath band, leaving in 1950 to pursue a very successful solo career. He only employed the best British musicians, such as Phil Seaman, George Chisholm, Bill Le Sage & Derek Smith, all heard here. These 22 never before released studio recordings date from the mid-1950's.
