...have been a fan of caterina valente's since the 50's. and it is great that her albums are being transferred to cd. have looked for years for cds of her records. first heard her on an album called 'classics with a chaser' with werner mueller and his orchestra. listened once and then again and then again. the lady can do no wrong. overlooked by many, but more than worthy for anyone to ge to know. she goes up there with fitzgerald, streisand, lee, horne, and the first ladies of song. don't bother looking for a special song on any of her albums...just put the needle down or push play and you settle back and be swept up in her vocal expertise. caterina....wherever you are, thanks for giving us such pleasure in song. personal note: where can i get a copy of 'classics with a chaser'...please...anyone!!!!!
