Original -Great piece of JFK history, a 64 page booklet offering the Official U.S. Physical Fitness Program, a major theme of President John F. Kennedy's domestic agenda. Comprehensive fitness booklet (still valid today) features image of JFK on front and back along with an inspiring message by President Kennedy. Prepared by the President's Council on Physical Fitness as directed by Sports legend Bud Wilkinson, book is promoted as the "World's Fastest Selling Exercise Book" with original 50 cent price tag. Paperback booklet measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and features an opening letter from JFK on the importance of a fit nation. Booklet addresses separate exercises for men and women with extensive charts, diagrams and photos. Issue is in Nice condition, complete no tears. The book shows some wear. . A great (and useful) souvenir of the Camelot era.
