Personnel: Nat King Cole (vocals, piano).Recording information: 03/01/1947-03/13/1948.This excellent CD contains five of the Trio's radio shows for NBC during 1947-48. There are some guests (singer Clark Dennis, the Dinning Sisters, Pearl Bailey, Woody Herman and Duke Ellington) for a song apiece, but the focus is on the Trio with occasional vocals from Cole. This historical music is enjoyable although the performances (many around the two-minute mark) are sometimes frustratingly brief. It's still worth acquiring.
