Very Good Condition - Still in factory wrapping - unsealed

Settle back, close your eyes, savor the color of sound. Open your mind and watch "Apres un Reve" flow across your consciousness, the colors of the melody as vivid, as transparent as those in any impressionist painting. As the harmony grows and changes, so too do the colors, fluidly, subtly changing with each note. Experience the essence of "Clair de Lune." Let your imagination carry you to an unforgettable and enchanted moment at the Eiffel Tower. Sense the magic of the artist, the power of his magical flute. Listen, and watch as this tribute to James Galway unfolds, note by note. Savor the colors that Milton Davila coaxes from his flute. Immerse yourself in the moods that artist and instrument, intertwined, can convey.

About the Artist

Flutist and composer Milton Davila, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, had his first flute lesson at the age of thirteen. Two years later he enrolled in the Puerto Rico Conservatory, quickly winning a scholarship to study with John Krell and Julius Baker from the Curtis Institute. He studied classical and jazz flute and jazz composition at the University of the Arts where he earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees. Then he went to the Conservatory of Vienna to begin his Doctorates degree. It wasn't long before his transcendent ability to play both classical and jazz launched his international career as one of the premier flutists of the world.

Since 1988, Mr. Davila has held the principal flute position for the Boca Pops Orchestra, Palm Beach Symphony, Miami City Ballet Orchestra, Gold Coast Orchestra, and Miami Zarzuela Orchestra in South Florida and performs as a soloist throughout the United States and Latin America. Recognized for his absolute control and extraordinary sound, he has surpassed classical definition. He has even performed for legendary rock band The Moody Blues and for Sylvester Stallone at his Miami mansion.

Mr. Davila is also a member of the faculty of Florida Atlantic University. His first solo CD, "The Dreamer," features his own compositions and was chosen to be the music for an underwater video produced by Watermark Multimedia.
